Washable covers are the genuine practical advantage over the designer version. With children, pets or red wine in the house, that feature alone justifies a lot.

Buy if you have seen the sofa in person, perhaps through a friend or a retail partner, you are confident about the size, and you understand that a return after assembly is unlikely to be straightforward.

Skip it if you need to test the seat depth first. Skip it too if a $240 return bill would hurt, or if a hidden review score is enough to put you off on its own.
